Biography of Archibald McLaren
Surgeon-Lieutenant Archibald McLaren was born in Glasgow and graduated MB, ChB from the University in 1941.
McLaren was killed on 15 July 1942 when the armed merchant cruiser SS Gloucester Castle was attacked and sunk by a German surface raider, the Michel, off the Ascension Isles.
