Biography of Sir Archibald Campbell of Succoth, 3rd Baronet
Sir Archibald Ilay Campbell of Succoth, 3rd Baronet (1825-66) was the University's Dean of Faculties from 1863 to 1865. In 1865, he attended the public which created a committee to organise the raising of funds required for the construction of new University buildings at Gilmorehill.
Campbell succeeded to the baronetcy in 1846.
