FZS Entered the Army Medical Servce, 1864, and passed through all the ranks of the Department. Served in the Afghan Campaign, 1878-80 (despatches, medal). PMO Egypt, 1897-98. Deputy-Director-General, AM Service, and Member of the Central British Red Cross Committee, 1899-1901. Surgeon-General, AM Staff (retired). Jubilee Medal, 1897.
