Biography of Chu Chang
Chu Chang graduated BSc on 24 April 1911. He was born in Nankin (Nanjing), Jiangsu Province, son of Tse Chang, a teacher.
Chang first matriculated in 1906-07, aged 19, joining the Faculty of Science. During his fours years he signed up for classes and advanced classes in Naval Architecture, Mathematics, Practical Engineering, Natural Philosophy (Physics), Chemistry, Physical Laboratory, and Ship Drawing, Political Economy, and Engineering.
