Biography of Kou Yen Wei

Kou Yen Wei graduated with a Bachelors of Science (BSc) in 1909. He was born in Shanghai, son to Sing Lin, a Professor of Literature.

Wei first matriculated in 1906-07, aged 18, joining the Faculty of Science. During his fours years he signed up for classes and advanced classes in Mathematics, Natural Philosophy (Physics), Chemistry, Engineering, Naval Architecture, snd Electrical Engineering.
