Biography of Alexander Robert Bogue Soga

Alexander Robert Bogue Soga graduated MB ChB from the University in 1912. He was born at Elliotdale, Transkei, son of Dr William Anderson Soga and grandson of Reverend Tiyo Soga. He was nephew to Alan Kirkland Soga and cousin to Richard Ross Soga.

After graduation, Soga returned to South Africa where he practiced as a surgeon at Idutywa.
