Biography of Lorenzo Saborido
Lorenzo Saborido was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, son of Lorenzo a lawyer. He attended the University in session 1892-93 to study Naval Architecture.
Lorenzo appears to have become Lieutenant Saborido of the Argentine Navy, and partook in the Antarctic Expeditions, commanding the Austral in the Argentine Expedition of 1905-06 to relieve the crew of Orcadas and to install an observatory on Booth Island.
