Biography of Jacinto Zenón Caminos Rodeyro
Jacinto Zenón Caminos Rodeyro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, son of Juan León Caminos, a civil engineer and surveyor, who surveyed the port town of General Alvear on the river Paraná in 1878.
Caminos came to the University in 1892, and attended classes in Naval Architecture, Natural Philosophy, and Engineering Drawing. He was one of two Naval Architecture students serving on the Committee for the Engineering Society in 1895-96.
