Biography of Alf Valdemar Palmqvist
Alf Valdemar Palmquist enrolled at the University of Glasgow in 1911, aged 27, where he studied Naval Architecture.
Palmquist was born in Sweden in a town called Naverstad and later moved to Gothenburg. After finishing his year in Glasgow he moved to Cleveland, USA. In 1918 he published a book on ship transportation.
