Biography of John Sharp Douglas
John Sharp Douglas, brother of Alexander and George Sharp Douglas, attended the University between 1889 and 1897 to study Medicine.
He was born in Hamburg, son of Alexander, who was retired from business as a soap manufacturer, and was the grandson of his namesake, John Sharp Douglas, the founder the global Douglas chain.
