Biography of Johannes Pedersen

Johannes Pedersen was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from the University of Glasgow in 1951. He was a noted Danish theologian and linguist, author of Israel: Its Life and Culture, and from 1922, Professor of Semiotic Philology in the University of Copenhagen.
