Biography of Wilhelmina Jeanie Mary Hunter

Wilhelmina Jeanie Mary Hunter graduated with an MA on the 19 November 1921.

Hunter was born in Kingston, Jamaica, daughter of John Hunter, a minister.

Hunter first matriculated in 1918, aged 17, into the Faculty of Arts. She went on to study Latin, French, Logic, English, Political Economy and Geology with a Higher examination in French. Later she worked as a teacher.

Hunter lived to the age of 83, and died in Fintry, Stirlingshire on 6 October 1984.
