Biography of William Jarvis
William Jarvis attended an Arts course at the University in 1739, enrolling for the Humanity class of Professor George Ross.
He was born in Antigua, son of Thomas Jarvis, a merchant and plantation owner, and brother of Glasgow graduate Thomas Jarvis.
William returned to Antigua where he became Member of the Assembly for Popeshead.
