Biography of Charles Rattray
Charles Rattray matriculated as an Arts student at the University in 1831. He was the eldest son of Thomas, a farmer of Forfar.
Rattray was ordained in 1834. He served as a missionary of the London Missionary Society for 37 years in Demerara, modern day Guyana. He died at Forfar in 1877.
